TalkZone Internet Talk Radio Adds 'Lawyers Who Needs Them'

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 6, 2008 -- TalkZone Internet Radio has added the award winning "Lawyers Who Needs Them" program featuring hosts Randal Simonetti and James Hartman Esq. The program originated on National Public Radio in Rochester in the early 1990s and moved to Rochester's CBS affiliate WHAM. During that period Simonetti and Hartman received the coveted New York State BAR Association Media Award for broadcast excellence. In 2008, the program became the second most popular show on the San Diego-based Internet network World Talk Radio with a global audience reaching all the way to Australia.

Simonetti and Hartman provide an informative, entertaining and often irreverent look at the law and those who practice it. The hosts explore the application and implication of the law in everyday life. Their discussions cover a wide range of related topics such as education, business, government, medicine, sports and entertainment. No one is safe from the law or Jim and Randal. Their humorous and out spoken approach to topics keeps listeners laughing and interested. They bring legal concepts down to earth. However, they are relentless and direct when it comes to those who abuse the law or manipulate it for personal gain. The hosts bring over 60 years of combined legal, business, and academic experience to the subject and most importantly enjoy helping listeners who call with questions or seek guidance.

The program's rapid fire pace is complimented with visits from famous legal figures like English barristers Sir James Featherweight and Sir Randal Dishwater along with guests ranging from business, government and judicial leaders to some of Hollywood's most famous actors and actresses. Each week, legal bunglers are eligible to receive the coveted Simon-Hart Award given to people who abuse the legal system or use the law to take advantage of others.

"We never know who is going to be on the other end of a call," says Randal Simonetti. "Our objective is simple; we are there to take the fear and mystery out of our complex system of jurisprudence."

"Make no mistake about it," explains Jim Hartman, "We challenge those who abuse the system while we advocate for common sense."

Randal Simonetti is the President and CEO of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society serving over 12,000 clients and their families across 50 counties in Upstate New York. He is also the founder and CEO of Ignition Consulting, Ltd., a full service management, marketing and public relations consulting firm. He has held executive management positions at AT&T, Citicorp, and Frontier Corporation. He holds a BA Degree in English from Manhattan College, a master's degree in Communications from Manhattanville College and a second master's degree in Administration from Southern Connecticut State University. He has attended the executive studies program at the Wharton School of Business and the Harvard-MIT School of Dispute Resolution. He has published over a dozen articles on leadership, reputation management, global marketing, mergers and acquisitions and consultative selling.

James Hartman Esq. has been practicing law for over 50 years and possesses a diverse background in litigation and corporate law. He is considered one of Rochester's top trial attorneys and has argued before the United States Supreme Court. James recently retired from the law firm of Harris, Beach, LLP and continues to work as a legal consultant to law firms throughout the country. Jim received his BA from New York University and his JD from Columbia University. He is a former president of the Monroe County BAR Association and a member of the board of directors of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Both Jim and Randal were professional musicians. Jim toured the country as a member of the United State Army Band playing clarinet and saxophone. Randal founded the successful New York metropolitan area band, "Circus" playing the string bass and bass guitar.
