Cate Sparks to Ignite Radio Disney
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) August 16, 2008 -- Recording artist Cate Sparks is set to bring the heat to Radio Disney's Incubator Webcast August 9th - 22nd, 2008. Sparks will be joining the ranks of former Incubator artists like The Jonas Brothers, Aly and AJ and a host of other musical phenoms. 2 tracks: "I Want It All" and "Anyone Here" which are included on Spark's debut CD, I Want It All, appear on Incubator. "It's simply I want it all," Sparks explains. "Everyone should be able to have it all. I don't want to settle for second best, and I don't know anyone that does. It's just saying that if you stumble just get up, brush yourself off and go for it."
Sparks, who has been singing professionally since age seven, has been described as Alternative Power Pop Rock with contagious melodies. Her rich, warm powerful voice showcases a wide musical range, capability and versatility far beyond her teen years. Her songs are full of life, love, heartbreak and healing - all the things that teenagers talk about and experience every day.
Hailing from Minnesota, Sparks began her career as a member of The Atomic Kids - the Official Radio Disney Group of Minnesota. Currently, Sparks is recording on the final tracks of her debut CD, I Want It All, produced and recorded at Atomic K Records & Productions (Minneapolis) by veteran producer and engineer Karl Demer, CEO. Demer has recorded and worked with such artists as Grammy Award-Winning producer Terry Lewis, American Idol Finalist Paris Bennett, Prince & The New Power Generation drummer Michael Bland and The Grammy Award Winning Sounds of Blackness. "Cate's exceptional talents were apparent to me even at a very young age," says producer and family friend, Demer.
