Bruce Clay, Inc. Sponsors Webmaster Radio SearchBash at SES New York
Simi Valley, California (PRWEB) March 21, 2008 -- The place to be in New York City Wednesday night was Spotlight Live (http://www.spotlightlive.com/) for Webmaster Radio's (http://www.webmasterradio.fm/) highly-anticipated SearchBash (http://www.searchbash.com/). The Times Square venue -- recently touted by media outlets including MTV and Page Six for drawing celebrities and recording artists through its doors -- opened the club and karaoke bar to party goers attending the 2008 Search Engine Strategies New York (http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/newyork/) Conference and Expo. Bruce Clay, Inc. (http://www.bruceclay.com/) is a platinum sponsor of the popular and growing Webmaster Radio event.
From 8 to 11 p.m., SES New York attendees were welcomed to an open bar, complimentary food and the chance to perform on stage at the trendy Spotlight Live. About 500 conference attendees showed up to the can't-miss event of the week.
Some entertained themselves by mingling in the ultramodern lounge areas complete with slick white furniture and hanging metallic globes. Others stayed close to the live entertainment on the plush, gold-curtained stage of the karaoke bar, where people could cast votes for their favorite performers or jump on stage to wail their own musical favorites in front of the crowd. Performances were broadcast live to the jumbotron outside in Times Square and to the Spotlight Live Web site. Even Webmaster Radio show host and president of marketing Brandy Shapiro-Babin took a turn on the stage
"As hard as we work, SEOs and SEMs like to play hard, too. And we also like to network in person whenever such opportunities come up," said Bruce Clay, president of Bruce Clay, Inc. "Many in the industry fell in love with SEO for the camaraderie of a close-knit community of intelligent innovators. Working around the country and interacting through our computers, we so rarely get the chance to spend face-to-face time together. That's why Bruce Clay, Inc. proudly sponsored the SearchBash at New York and upcoming locations across the country. I was sorry to be out of the country for what I've heard was a great party."
Bruce Clay, Inc., along with Webmaster Radio, is the first multi-city sponsor of the SearchBash series. Musical, theatrical and celebrity guests and performances are in the works for future SearchBash parties. The next SearchBash event is scheduled for Search Engine Strategies Conference and Expo in San Jose this August. SMX East and Pubcon also have SearchBash parties scheduled later this year.
