International Artist Debut Radio Welcomes Olivia Newton-John and Jon Secada

Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 11, 2007 -- IADR (International Artist Debut Radio) podcast show welcomes guests for the month of December: Olivia Newton-John, Marta Burton, and Jon Secada as they highlight the theme fo "Instrument of Peace". IADR is one of many podcast shows on Yaktivate.com.

Welcome to International Artist Debut Radio, the most dynamic, innovative and exciting new podcast show to hit the internet World Wide, features a wide variety of new and established artists who are using their creative talents to make a positive difference in the world. The weekly show debuts entertainers from every artistic venue who will help to inspire, uplift and motivate you to want to make a positive change in your community. This Month, the show's theme is "Instrument of Peace" and our shows are sponsored by Christine Hassler, life coach, author and speaker.

On December 5, IAD Radio presents Olivia Newton-John. Newton-John is a music legend. Her countless successes include five Grammys, numerous Country Music Awards, American Music Awards and People's Choice Awards, five #1 hits including "Physical," which topped the charts for ten consecutive weeks, and 15 top 10 singles. In 1978, her co-starring role with John Travolta in "Grease" catapulted Newton-John into super-stardom. She continues to give back to the community generously and has been acknowledged many times by charitable and environmental organizations for her ongoing efforts, among them: the American Red Cross, the Environmental Media Association, the Women's Guild of Cedar's Sinai Medical Center, the Rainforest Alliance and Concept Cure.

On December 7, IAD Radio presents Jon Secada. Secada has sold over 20 million CDs with his voice, but he's never attempted something like this: A Christmas album of traditional songs set to Latin beats and decidedly non-traditional arrangements. The resulting A Christmas Fiesta and Una Fiesta Navideña, the Spanish-language version, is unexpected and relentlessly joyful, providing a much-needed lift to oft-visited Christmas standards, and also revealing a glimpse of rarely visited material. IAD Radio is honored to feature Jon Secada as our Artist of the Month for December.

On December 12, IAD Radio presents Marta Burton. Marta Burton's exceptional gifts as a concert artist have brought her into concert halls and theatres throughout the US and abroad. She has starred with dozens of major orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center. She lives in Denver, Colorado where she both produces and performs in a wide variety of concerts including A Celtic Midwinter, Southern Journey, Amazing Grace: Songs of Faith and Folk and A Celtic Fair, a symphonic pops concert. Her dedication to using music to unite people has led her to perform on behalf of the Interfaith Alliance. She will be directing the 2008 Interfaith Music Festival.

Satellite Radio Companies
The introduction of satellite radio has been one of the biggest innovations in recent FM broadcasting history. The companies that were initially given a license to broadcast on this spectrum were XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio. Currently, there are three satellite radio services broadcasting around the world: XM and Sirius in North America and WorldSp...
