BreakThru Radio Airing Lil Chief Records Showcase

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 21, 2007 -- BreakThru Radio (BTR), the Internet's source for the World's Best Independent Music, announced today that it will air a brand new specialty show from DJ Latola, showcasing the New Zealand label Lil' Chief Records. This unique new show will feature a hot playlist with many of the talented artists found on the label. The "Lil' Chief Records Showcase" is the latest installment in the station's impressive series of record label specialty shows.

Lil' Chief Records is an indie pop record label based out of Auckland, New Zealand. It was formed in 2002 by Jonathan Bree, Scott Mannion, and Lawrence Mikkelsen. The label provides a special type of pop music that is truly irresistible. Today, Lil' Chief's line up includes The Brunettes, The Tokey Tones, and Shaft.

"This is without a doubt one of the most cheery label showcases we've done here at BTR," remarks DJ Latola. "The Lil' Chief catalog is so chock-full of potential hits that it's kind of hard to fathom. There are songs from Edmund Cake, The Tokey Tones and the Nudie Suits that lay waste to anything currently in rotation on commercial/terrestrial radio stations."

The "Lil' Chief Records Showcase" is available in the station's archive and program guide, along with all of BTR's previous record label showcases and other specialty programs. Listeners can tune in to hear DJ Latola's picks from the Lil' Chief Records roster by visiting www.breakthruradio.com.
