BreakThru Radio Adds Arclight Records Show
New York, NY (PRWeb) August 7, 2007 -- BreakThru Radio (BTR), the Internet's source for the World's Best Independent Music, announced today that it will air a brand new specialty show from DJ Emily, showcasing the exciting indie label Arclight Records. This remarkable new show will feature a playlist with many talented artists from the Texas-based record label. The "Arclight Records Showcase" is the latest installment in the station's impressive series of record label specialty shows.
Arclight Records is a small, independent record label based out of Austin, Texas that prides itself on the philosophy that their artists' music is "made out of love and not out of a lust for fame or fortune."
Many of the label's bands are native to Texas. The Arclight Records' roster includes Tia Carrera, Amplified Heat, Phonograph, Freshkills, and RPG.
"I became familiar with Arclight Records through the band Phonograph," says BTR's DJ Emily. "I'm a huge fan of alt-country music and was drawn to the group's old-school Wilco-esque vibe. Once I discovered Phonograph, I started checking out the rest of the label's roster, which is packed full of great music ranging from alt-country to punk, jam-band, heavy metal, and rock. But it all has one common thread: it's darn good!"
The "Arclight Records Showcase" is available in the station's archive and program guide, along with all of BTR's previous record label showcases and other specialty programs. Listeners can tune in to hear DJ Emily's picks from the Arclight Records roster by visiting www.breakthruradio.com.

The companies that were initially given a license to broadcast on this spectrum were XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio. Currently, there are three satellite radio services broadcasting around the world: XM and Sirius in North America and WorldSp...
