Radio's Roy Gray Denies Lying About Comeback

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 19, 2007 -- In the very near future there will be a news release from the Roy Gray camp about which radio station the popular weekender has chosen as his on-air home.

Until then, radio fans get to find Gray themselves.

The first ten people that successfully track Gray down and email him about their success, will get to play guest DJs from any city on the new show, on which the famed announcer is reportedly playing jazz.

"I already know that some industry insiders have full knowledge of my radio whereabouts," said the host who has made "come here" a household phrase.

"I'm not doing this promotion for the elite people, although I value their loyal support of my work," Gray said, "This whole thing is for the jazz-lovin' public!"

Gray says he has no reason to make up a story about being back on the air, and denies the "Where's Waldo" style radio promotion is leading people on the proverbial wild goose chase.

"The first thing I want the people who track down my new show to learn about my relatively rapid return to live radio is when you rely on faith, you rely on power.

"And you know what?" continued Gray, "this is all about personal improvement, taking responsibility for the free-will choices you, yourself made that led to your 'face falls,' as well as those amazing achievements that lead to your rejoicing."

Hint: Gray's new program allegedly debuted last Saturday night, 11pm to 5am.

The news release formally announcing Gray's return to the live mike is scheduled for Saturday August 25, at the quirky announcer's summer picnic, and is expected to create a huge boost in listeners for the radio station--if the station really exists.

"Look, I'm telling you the station is on the air as we speak and, yeah, I'll still have the picnic," Gray confirmed, "only the name will be changed from 'The Fired' Picnic to 'The Learning Experience' Picnic."
